Cadets from the Hernando County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol participated in a commercial aviation event at JetBlue University that included hands on time in A220 flight simulators, A320 cabin simulators and more.

Hurricane Nicole is downgraded to Tropical Storm, but will still have serious impacts to area.

The FLWG is now at HURCON 1 Status. The Hernando County area is currently considered to be in the path of TS Nicole.
HURCON 2 Status
The FLWG is now at HURCON 2 Status. The Hernando County area is currently considered to be in the path of TS Nicole.
HURCON 3 Status
The FLWG is now at HURCON 3 Status. The Hernando County area is currently considered to be in the path of TS Nicole.
HURCON 4 Status
Group 3, FLWG is now at HURCON 4 Status.
Post Hurricane Ian Response
The FLWG is now in the post-hurricane response stage. The Hernando County Composite Squadron is a planned part of this response.
